Cavit HABIB Esteemed Stakeholders, We have arrived at the end of a year during which the pandemic, which has been going on since 2019, had tested sustainability of many commercial enterprises. First of all, I wish that the New Year brings along new hopes, new venues for development, and most importantly health for all of us. For us, the year 2021 has been significant due to the new works we have initiated. One of our greatest accomplishments was purchasing of the company Rönesans Facility Management Company, a subsidiary of the Rönesans group. With this transaction, ISS has been awarded facility management contracts of City Hospitals in Adana, Yozgat, Elazığ, and Bursa for the next 25 years. To be honest, our growth rate has also been a source of pride for us. We have accomplished an organic growth of 26% during 2021. As ISS, we believe that people make places and places make people. At all stages from strategy to operation, we work with our customers to create for them places that work, think, and provide. While managing this organic growth, effective use of our current human resources and positioning our potential manpower we will be adding to our company with employment opportunities we have created is undoubt- edly our greatest asset. In 2021, one of the issues we as ISS Turkey have focused on was Female Employment. ISS Turkey adopts the principle of Social Gender Equality in hiring while continuing to grow each day, employing female employees and the practice of supporting them while writing their success stories is among our sources of pride. In case of an employment opportunity in a project, our managers give priority to female workforce among candidates with equal qualities, thereby exerting maximum effort towards supporting women having an active role in business life and implementing an equal and just system. We emphasize on carrying out our opera- tions and provide services in a sustainable manner. In following months, we will be developing our sustainability strategy and plan our full-scale foundation and activities in various fields that will help us achieve our goals throughout the world: Environmental - To help prevent climate change Social - To create sustainable and strong communities Management - To have a strong corporate management that ensures ethical and viable operations Sustainability is also the key to our culture. We know that our people, customers, and societies in which we operate are crucial for reducing our environmental impact and cre- ating our sustainability practices. We elect to focus on sustainability as part of our global growth. This helps in preserving our basic values of honesty, entrepreneurship, quality, and unity as well as place our trust in people right in the middle of our organization. We as ISS are aware of the full scale of continuing climate and environmental crisis. For this reason, we are more assertive in our sustainability efforts and aim to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emission, including our whole supply chain, by the year 2040. In addition to all these plans we have mentioned, we will ensure through con- tinuous improvements and developments in occupational health and safety as well as our efforts with regards to innovations and strengthening of our digital platform through our OneISS strategy that each of our employees complete their job in a safe manner and return home in full health.
